Phillip’s Poetry Published

Phillip has had three different poems published this year! He has submitted some of his poems to different publications over the years, but has had a hard time finding a publisher that appreciated his poetry. Nonetheless, he was persistent and his poetic talents were recognized by three separate publications.

Picking Peaches in Late Summer (April in Forage)

The Lepidopterist (October in Sweet Tree Review)

Night Fishing on Boulder Mountain (November in Rust + Moth)

Welcome to our new blog!

After ten years of manually maintaining our original family web site, we decided to make a change and go with a more modern look. You can still go to the old site to see what we did in the first decade of this century, but we’ll be recording all our new family happenings on this blog.

We’ve collected some details on how to use the blog on the About Our Blog page that will always be available from the main menu. We appreciate Phillip’s help with many design issues, and especially the photos on the “sliding door” menu at the top of our blog.

If you have any questions or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you. And feel free to leave any comments you may have on our posts (if you plan to leave many comments, it will be easier for you if you register as a user — see About Our Blog for instructions).
